If you'd like to allow students to access your course before and/or after official semester start and end dates, you can do this by:
- Going to the course you'd like to change the dates on and navigate to the "Settings" screen.
- Choosing the "Course Details" tab from the Settings screen.
- Adding start and/or end dates as needed.
- Checking the box "Students can only participate in the course between these dates".
- Clicking the "Update course details" button at the bottom of the page.
If you don't choose dates the course will open and/or close at the official start and end of the semester.
